Terms & Conditions
DIY Supply Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions are designed to provide clarity with how DIY Supply Limited conducts business with our customers, both in store at 128 Ossie James Drive, Rukuhia, Hamilton and on line through our e-store (diysupply.nz).
When you access our sites (either physically at our premises or electronically via our e-store), you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms described here. If you do not agree to the terms described here we will be unable to supply you at this point in time, but should you reconsider and agree to how we operate, DIY Supply Limited will welcome your custom.
DIY Supply Limited operates solely in New Zealand and as such we use New Zealand currency when receiving payment both at our premises and in our e-store. We conduct our business in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. DIY Supply will also arrange delivery of our products only to a location in New Zealand.
Products & Payment
DIY Supply Limited sells both pre-used and new products from our premises and through our e-store. Product is added to and/or removed from our inventory system from time to time. This inventory is the same for both our physical premises and our e-store and we make every effort to keep the information up to date and accurate.
Products may be ordered, paid for, and collected in person at our premises, or remotely through our e-store (diysupply.nz) which allows for delivery to be arranged. Prices are quoted including Goods and Services Tax. Prices may increase or decrease from time to time.
DIY Supply Limited offers a variety of payment methods including credit cards, Eft-Pos, and buy-now-pay-later options. Paying using cash is only available at our premises. Please refer to our e-store for current payment options.
When you place an order with us either in person at our premises or via confirmation at our e-store checkout, you are making an offer to buy product from DIY Supply Limited. By taking your payment DIY Supply Limited accepts your order.
If you have ordered online through our e-store we will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order and payment.
Deliveries
Delivery is available within New Zealand and can be arranged at our premises or online at our e-store when completing your order. At DIY Supply Limited we try to deliver using our own transport where possible, but we may outsource this service.
You may also decide to collect your purchase in person from our premises which is great because we love to meet our customers. Collecting from our premises is also an option if you make your purchase through our e-store – we’ll hold your purchase labelled for you to collect – if you think your pickup might be delayed please let us know.
Goods are at our risk (we insure them) until delivered to you, or you collect them from our premises.
If DIY Supply Limited is delivering to you, we would expect this to take between 3 and 5 days – if we’re going to be any longer we will be in touch.
Cancellation
You may cancel your order if we haven’t dispatched it already – please call us or email us as soon as possible and DIY Supply Limited will arrange repayment to you.
Returns
DIY Supply Limited is happy to take back products that you decide you don’t require within 48 hours of dispatch from our premises. You’ll need to advise us of your order details and if we’re doing a pickup there may be another delivery charge.
Before asking to return your order please confirm that the product is in the same condition as we delivered it to you – once we are happy that what you are returning is OK we will refund your purchase price (less any delivery/pickup cost).
E-Store
Using our online e-store to place your order is an efficient way to get the products you need from DIY Supply Limited and we hope you find it useful in getting your project completed. There are a few things you should be aware of when using the e-store such as we exclude all liability for losses you (or anyone else) may have incurred relating to the e-store including, but not limited to errors, mistakes or inaccuracies; acting, or failing to act, on any information contained in the e-store; and any interruption to / unavailability of the e-store.
Some pages in the e-store use “cookies” which are small files that the site places on your hard drive for identification purposes. If you are not familiar with “cookies” or their purpose please contact your IT professional before continuing to use the DIY Supply e-store.
